Tupacs Life

Tupacs life On June 16, 1971, Tupac ( natural Lesane Parish Crooks) was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was named after an Inca Indian revolutionist: Tupac Amaru means "shining snake", and Shakur is arabic for "thankful to deity". Tupac was the son of the politcal activist Alice Faye Williams (Afeni Shakur). She was a member if the Black painter Party. Tupac grew up without knowing that his biological start was still alive. Afeni moves in with Mutulu Shakur who becomes Tupacs stepfather and confidant for the rest of his life. Tupac mensurate him as a father figure.

At the age of 12 Tupac found a petulance for acting and writing poetry. Afeni enrolls him in a Harlem theater group. Tupac plays Travis in A Raisin the Sun as his first performance.
